Founder & Cultural Coach

Why I do this work

I arrived in New Zealand with a good CV, decent English and absolutely no idea how anything actually worked. The practical things came right within a few months. The rest took years — the meetings where I could not tell whether people agreed with me, the friendships that never quite started, the slow suspicion that I was the problem.

I was not the problem. I was missing a set of rules nobody had written down, and once someone finally explained them to me, everything I already had started working again.

Culture Bridge is the support I wish had existed then. Not a lecture about a country, but practical, specific help with the situations that actually come up — the interview, the performance review, the awkward silence at morning tea.

I work with individuals, families and teams across Aotearoa New Zealand, in person and online. If any of this sounds familiar, I would like to hear from you.

What I bring

  • Lived experience as a migrant to New Zealand
  • Facilitator of cross-cultural workshops for teams and community groups
  • One-to-one coaching for job seekers and newly arrived professionals
  • Partnerships with employers on inclusive onboarding

Belonging is built, not granted

If you're somewhere in the middle of this — arrived, functioning, but not yet at home — you're not behind. That's just where the work starts.
